I have known/seen many music artists that puts their heart and soul into their music...one that comes to mind for me is my good friend Don Ray.  

Don has performed all over the US...he's recorded/sang with many known blues artists...he gives his heart and soul into every song that he sings.  He often "stops by" to join me on my "The Lady Plays The Blues Show" and sometimes sings a tune or two for the listeners! 

I met Don last year at a venue in TN. and from the first song that I heard, I was amazed!  He sings with all the soul inside of him and his performances are incredible!  I have had the honor to see him perform many times and he's now venturing into the "Muscle Shoals" (Alabama) recording studios!  Also, he is now one of the XM Satellite Radio icons!  (A quick story....while driving home from shopping, I was listening to Bluesville and I heard "Boom Chica Wow Wow"....I thought, who is singing Don's song! LOL  I picked up my mobile phone and called Don...."do you have XM in your car....they are playing one of your songs".... Don tuned-in and we both were laughing/singing with a "HELL YEAH!")

It is such an honor to play his songs...and mostly, an honor to call him a good friend!  Keep the blues alive, my friend!   ~Jan~
